Morris Meyer
President, Surfworks

Morris Meyer is one of the first waves of volunteers selected and trained by The Climate Project to present the material contained in Al Gore’s 2006 book and film, An Inconvenient Truth. President of the consulting company, Surfworks, Meyers has consulted for a Los Alamos think-tank, CitiCorp, Nortel, Sun Microsystems, Motorola, and has engaged in a wide range of cutting edge software technology research. He has worked as a software engineering for Apple, NeXT Computer, and Gould Computer Systems Division.

Meyers received his B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He and his wife Teri and their three children live in Clifton, Virginia.

Kara Ball
Special Assistant to the President
National Wildlife Federation (NWF)

NWF has identified as a top priority the need to wake up America to the urgency of global warming.  Kara Ball helps advance this priority by outreaching in her professional and personal capacities.  Ball has been trained by The Climate Project to present and discuss the slideshow An Inconvenient Truth.  She has also worked with her husband the Reverend Jim Ball, executive director of the Evangelical Environmental Network, assisting with activities that led to the Evangelical Climate Initiative—a groundbreaking statement by evangelical leaders supporting the need to address climate change.

She holds a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Mary Lou Fox President
Fox Supply Chain Consulting

Mary Lou Fox, a trained educator with The Climate Project, is a recognized expert in supply chain management and has broad experience in the software and services industry. Her career includes senior executive positions in consulting, marketing, and product development at Manugistics, a supply chain management software company, and serving as the chief operating officer at NextLinx, a global trade software company.

Fox has served on several boards including the Board of Directors at Prescient Systems and Cambar Software, SCM software companies. Pennsylvania State University recognized Fox as its Logistician of the Year in 1995 and Syracuse University awarded its Salzburg Medallion Concept Award to her in 1998 for her leadership in defining supply chain management applications. Fox has a M.S. degree in computer science from Polytechnic Institute of New York, and a B.S. degree in mathematics from Boston College.
