The George Washington University
Commitment to Virginia

The George Washington University is making a substantial commitment to delivering highest quality graduate education and research programs to met the needs of professionals, business, industry and government agencies that make Virginia their home. GW has delivered masters, doctoral and professional certificate programs in Virginia for over 40 years.

In 1991, The George Washington University built the Virginia Campus (Loudoun County) to serve the technology and management needs of the region. In fall 1995, at the request of key government, civic and community leaders, opened the GW Alexandria Graduate Education Center and the GW Graduate Education Center, Arlington, where an array of graduate degree and professional development certificate programs are offered to meet the needs of the local citizenry. The Hampton Roads Center in Hampton, Virginia, has delivered graduate programs since 1965.
