o        Presided over the 22nd Commencement of Virginia Tech's Northern Virginia Center where over 400 MA, MS, Ph.D. and Ed.D degrees were awarded.

 Marcia Bachman

o        Published article in November-December 2001 issue of "The Clause," a quarterly publication of the Boards of Contract Appeals Bar Association, titled "Avoiding Contractor Combat Activities"  dealing with the issue of preventing violations of international law when contractors support military operations during war or other contingencies.

Douglas Carroll

o        Appointed unaffiliated, non-scientist member of Institutional Review Board at the Naval Medical Research Center, in Silver Spring, MD.  Participate at Review Board meetings and offer consultation especially about consent forms used for non-medical participants (human subjects) in international medical research.

Nick Cline

o        Grant documentation for research on Distance Meetings for Professors and Students submitted to Northern Virginia Community College and accepted for consideration.

o        Started educational consulting business with two other Cohort # 2 members.

o        Submitted presentation abstract documentation at the 2001 SALT Conference in Washington DC.

William Comey

Susan Crosby

Stephanie Younkins
