GWireless is GW’s secure wireless network available in select locations on the Foggy Bottom, Mount Vernon, and Virginia campuses.

To use GWireless, you will need:

• A computer with a Windows 2000 or XP or Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4 (aka Tiger) operating system
• A 802.11b or 802.11g wireless network card
• GW’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) client downloaded and installed on your computer
• Your GW NetID (GW Email name) to log onto GWireless using the VPN client

Login with your GWMail username and password to download GWireless VPN installers for Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4 (aka Tiger). Other operating systems are not supported.
