BACKGROUND: The George Washington University Virginia Campus is proud to present “Discover Loudoun’s Young Artists,” a partnership program showcasing works by students from Loudoun County Public Schools. The goal for Loudoun County Public Schools Visual Arts Program is to connect the student/creator to the power of the visual image and create a link between the arts of the past and present. In grades one through 12, basic learning goals have been set that strive to address the students’ sequential development through art in relation to their creative expression and appreciation of art.
