ASHBURN, VA—Going Green is an exhibit of paintings, mixed media, and sculpture that honors the green movement.
The exhibit focuses on creative recycling—art created from found objects, materials, or items originally designed for another purpose but fashioned into works of art. The green materials serve either as the main focus or as an embellishing feature that is visually present in the work.
An artist reception is scheduled on Thursday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The reception will take place in the Building 2 first floor area and is free and open to the community. Building 2 is located at 44983 Knoll Square, Ashburn, VA 20147 in the University Center. Please RSVP to Corporate and Community Relations by July 20, reservations@va.gwu.edu or call 703-726-3650.
